David L. Hill, MD, FAAP, is past Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Communications and Media and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the UNC School of Medicine. He is a frequent contributor to Parents.com, and his commentaries have aired on NPR's All Things Considered. Dr. Hill speaks nationally on issues related to media and children and social media marketing for pediatricians and has appeared in The New York Times, Time Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal and as a guest on CNN and Fox News. Dr. Hill won the Independent Book Publishers Association Benjamin Franklin Award in 2013 for Dad To Dad: Parenting Like A Pro.
