A leading voice for Alzheimer’s caregivers, Dayna Steele is the author of Surviving Alzheimer’s with Friends, Facebook, and A Really Big Glass of Wine and the playwright and lead actor of the dark comedy The Woman in the Mirror based on her book. When her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, she navigated this horrific journey with the help of friends and strangers on Facebook. Taking the lessons she learned, Dayna wrote this Alzheimer’s how-to manual for caregivers everywhere and is the creator and host of the podcast #survivingalzheimers. Dayna is also a rock radio Hall of Famer, author, and motivational speaker. Her books include Rock to the Top: What I Learned about Success from the World’s Greatest Rock Stars and the 101 Ways to Rock self-help series.
