DECLAN Davey is a psychological thriller author. His website is https://www.psychthrillers.com. Born and raised in London, he has a professional background in the psychology sector, including work for the NHS and several charities. He aims to serve you by providing suspenseful content that is emotive, succinct and memorable. Childhood dreams: To become either a) an author or b) a vet (this idea was later rejected due to a distaste for blood – making the Thriller-writing passion somewhat ironic!) Education: BSc Psychology. After working his way up the career ladder, he was accepted onto the doctoral program in 2017 to train as a Clinical Psychologist. Unfortunately, this was cut short due to… Lyme disease: After an onset of neurological symptoms, a point was reached whereby ill health meant having to make the unavoidable decision to stop work and enter into comprehensive treatment. Lyme was found to be the cause, and since then it has been a fight to get as much health back as possible. On the bright side, the period spent in treatment has also given him more time to write, and as a result, 'Psych Thrillers' was born!
