Historian Dennis M. Spragg is Senior Consultant, Glenn Miller Archives (GMA), American Music Research Center (AMRC) at the University of Colorado Boulder and he is a member of the AMRC Advisory Board. A veteran broadcasting and media research professional, Dennis is the author of America Ascendant: The Rise of American Exceptionalism and Glenn Miller Declassified, published by the Potomac Books imprint of the University of Nebraska Press. Dennis is featured in the PBS television series History Detectives episode The Disappearance of Glenn Miller, a BBC-2 radio special Glenn Miller, 70 Years of Mystery and an episode of the Travel Channel program Mysteries at the Museum. He is the subject of many media articles, features and reviews, including Air Force Magazine, Boulder Daily Camera, CBS Sunday Morning, Chicago Tribune, The Daily Mirror, Denver Post, Fox News, The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Times of London, Los Angeles Times, Military Review, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Washington Post, USA Today and World War II Magazine; numerous radio interviews and speaking engagements. He has written feature articles in magazines including Smithsonian. A leading and internationally prominent Glenn Miller and big band historian, Dennis co-hosts and produces the weekly Star Spangled Radio Hour radio series on KEZW, Denver, which is broadcast on the air and streamed online worldwide. He manages the GMA social media, including the GMA website, and GMA Facebook page. He also manages a personal website and opinion blog dedicated to his published works and American exceptionalism.
