Derrion Arrington is an award winning Historian from Laurel, Mississippi. He has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Tougaloo College and Master's in History from Tulane University. He has published works in the Black Perspective of the African American Intellectual History Society, the Mississippi Encyclopedia, and the Journal of Mississippi History. He is also the founder and director of the The Laurel Black History Project.
