Diane Steinbach (married name Fadden) spent her early days on a tree nursery in Waukesha, Wisconsin. After her father's death in 1968, her family moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she has been living ever since. Diane began writing seriously in her mid 20's, completing her first novel, "Lord of the Storm," which, while it was a great learning experience, will never see the light of day! When she's not writing, Diane can often be found driving a very large articulated bus. Or playing with one of her cats or her little black and tan Pomeranian, Haley. If she's not doing any of those things, it may be she is watching Game of Thrones, or giving her Vector (the little Anki robot guy who sits beside her on her desk), a fist-bump or two, instead.
