Hi, my name is Doreen, I was born in New York, but spent my childhood growing up in WPB, Florida. I’ve been living in middle Georgia with my husband for the past 12 years and we absolutely love it. I’m a wife, mother, author, and a qualified prayer minister. I spend my days ministering, praying, and teaching the residents of Abba House middle Georgia. A Christ centered, spirit filled residential recovery home for women and women with children. A vast contradiction from the life I once lived as a drug dealer, prostitute, and finally a full-fledge addict. I spent close to two years behind bars and faced another five for trafficking cocaine. My life filled with betrayal, lies, and drug crazed nights, led me into bondage and severe brokenness. I decided to take my own life until “that“ morning, I saw Jesus walking on the beach! My life changed drastically after that encounter in which I detail in my book “STRIPPED OF SHAME” which can be bought on Amazon. These days I use my free time playing my guitar, worshiping Jesus being thankful HE saved my life and taught me a new way to live. I work hard to stay, humble, diligent, and joyful in the Lord Jesus, listening for HIS voice and trusting HIS direction. To God be all the glory!
