Ms. Salois has been the Artistic Director of Vantage Theatre since 1994 and is now the Executive Artistic Director. She forged a three-way partnership with San Diego Repertory, La Jolla Playhouse and presented Anna Deavere Smith’s New York production of Let Me Down Easy in association with Arena Stage’s national tour. As a director and producer Ms. Salois has brought over 38 plays to fruition. Her latest work with Vantage was producing Lynne Kaufman’s Be HERE NOW THE JOURNEY OF RAM DASS at The OB Playhouse remounting it for the San Diego Fringe festival and she recently brought Joel Drake Johnson’s 2015 Nominee as Best Off -Broadway play to a new theatre space she created in La Jolla. She has written and directed for television, So This is Washington and West of Hedon. She has also written for the theatre. She is a coauthor of the plays The Importance of Being Earnest the Musical!, The Holy Man an adaptation of Susan Trotts novels, and Macgregor As an Actor she has performed in professional theatres as well as film and television in New York, Los Angeles, Massachusetts, Washington D.C. and San Diego She received her Baccalaureate from Lowell University and her Masters from Georgetown University She resides in La Jolla with her husband, is the mother of two grown daughters and writes fiction under her married name Salerno
