Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. John Barrett graduated from Boston College with a BS in management and accounting. After gaining global exposure as a CPA with Deloitte, he embarked on a new path. After graduating from the Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and serving an externship at the Beijing University Teaching Hospital in China, he became a Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. He now has a private practice in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles and also serves on staff at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Given over a decade of experience working in corporate environments, and over a decade practicing medicine, Dr. Barrett has a first hand understanding of how factors of health, happiness, and business success intersect. He is pleased to share his knowledge through writing, lecturing, and developing focused corporate wellness plans. His mission in life is to enrich the corporate experience for all involved.
