Who am I? God only knows exactly who I am at any given moment. Still, I’ll give it a try. I believe in Christ and try to live in tune with Christian principles. Am I perfect? No, but I’m working on it. I am the husband of one incredible woman (30+ years!), the father of five amazing children, a Grandpa to two children, and the doggy-daddy of my basset hound Sadie. I am an introvert. I spend my free time reading, walking, hiking, cycling, swimming, riding roller coasters, singing, sunbathing, naturist activities, and enjoying movies in my home theater. I have a degree in history from what is now BYU, Idaho. Creating new stories is one of the most fulfilling and challenging tasks I have ever set for myself. For me, the process of writing is a joyous adventure. Oh, and what a voyage. Reading and writing a book is similar to driving and building a car - from scratch. The analogy becomes even more vital if you imagine learning to fashion the gears, engine block, spark plugs, and tires from scratch – no off-the-shelf parts. My writing style can be categorized as a “pantser” (writing “by the seat of my pants”) or an exploratory writer. I learn the story’s nuts and bolts as the tale flows from my mind and appears on the electronic page. Characters introduce themselves, grow, change, evolve, and become my friends. I cheer for their success, cry when they fail, and mourn their deaths. I peer into every corner of my character’s life. My work is currently published independently through Amazon.com.
