Edith Bernier was born in Matane, Québec, Canada. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Journalism in 2003 from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her first book, "The Ultimate Guide to Plus-Size Backpacker", was self-published on Amazon in 2016 and meant to address the challenges plus-size women face while traveling. Her second book, "Grosse, et puis ?", was published in Sept. 2020. With a preface by Dr Benoît Arsenault, PhD, it is the first French-written reference guide of its kind. The book had a European release early in 2022, with French publisher Marabout. In Feb. 2023, she released "Grandir sans grosssophobie", a book addressed to parents, educators and anyone having at heart the desire to help children develop a positive body image without Fat-Phobia.
