Dr. Edwin Garcia, Jr. is an award-winning author and school administrator in the urban public schools district where he went to school. He holds two Masters’ degrees in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Garcia is passionate about speaking his truth and bringing educational opportunities to ALL STUDENTS. Recently, Dr. Garcia won the 2026 NJPSA Visionary Assistant Principal Secondary award and is the NJ state nominee for the 2026 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year Secondary. As an author, he won an award for Literary Titan's Gold Book award for "My Backpack is Heavier Than Yours: The Plight of Marginalized Students."
