Elena Soprano had her debut in 1994 with the novel La Maschera, Lerici Opera Prima prize, translated into five countries, a book that Marco Ferreri fell in love with and that he didn't have time to turn into a film. Since that time she has written for adults and children and has published, among others, with Archinto, Baldini and Castoldi, La Tartaruga, Topipittori, San Paolo, Effigie, Le Rane Interlinea. She have written radio texts for Radio Rai and Radio Svizzera Italiana, and comics and short stories for numerous newspapers and periodicals, including Nuovi Argomenti and Il Piccolo. She have curated creative reading and writing workshops in schools and civic libraries. With her personal name she deals with narrative criticism for childhood. For years she have written reviews on the Domenicale of Sole 24 Ore, for the Indice, now she writer them for Liber. She is of Greek origin (Greek is her second language), she has always collected buttons found on the ground.
