According to actual facts, historical references and countless mainstream news organs, Elijah Muhammad, by far, was the most powerful black man in America. Known more through the students he produced, like Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan and Muhammad Ali, this controversial man exposed the black man as well as the world to a teaching, till now, was only used behind closed doors of high degree Masons and Shriners. He was born October, 1897 in Saundersville, GA, but didn't find his calling until the early 1930s when he met his teacher, Master Fard Muhammad, outside of Detroit, MI. Upon his teacher's departure, Elijah Muhammad built what is known today as the Nation of Islam. His labor and vision is responsible for generating the greatest impact of Islam in North America and producing the greatest revolution in America without lifting or firing a single gun.
