I have been a published writer for many years. I began my career in Louisiana, where I am originally from, writing food articles for the local paper. Soon I began writing for many different sections of that paper, including Sunday magazine cover stories, human interest, small businesses, religion and more. National publication followed in The Christian Science Monitor and The Hollywood Reporter as I began covering events in Louisiana of national and international interest. In North Carolina, where I now live, my work has been published in regional publications. Liza's World is my first work of fiction and has its roots in Louisiana and The Carolinas. Patches is a delightful children's book based on a true story which took place in the countryside of Louisiana. I hope you enjoy both! And thank you for your interest in and support of my work..
