I've been writing since I was a kid--short stories about my adventures. I tried to be as true to my experiences then as I do now. In college, I learned how to craft through dialogue. A certain amount of descriptive imagery is key to setting the scene, but dialogue brings us into the action and allows us to hear the words in our own vernacular. I am the author of the Letters to Corey and The Heart-Shaped Stone and have published short stories in on-line forums. She is currently developing a novel based on one of her short stories. She is an avid reader, and dog mom, and enjoys many outdoor activities.
