Emily Lauren is a Canadian designer, seamstress and writer born in Ottawa in 1989.
As a child, she used sewing tailored clothes and designing clothes for herself (or at least she tried to do it lol).
When she grows up, her passion turned into a job; in 2009, she started working in a tailor's shop in Boston, where she deals with designing and building tailored clothes for wealthy clients.
In 2013 she moved to Germany, where she was hired by a well-known brand of children's clothes to design some of the new spring collections.
After a few years, she decided to open her wedding dress shop in Florence in Italy, and she also began to hold training courses for young aspiring sewists and stylists.
The passion for teaching leads her to start writing her manuals, which are available for sale on the most famous book stores.
