Ena Jones writes contemporary middle-grade fiction (for children ages 8-12). She grew up in Northern Virginia, on the outskirts of Washington, DC, and currently lives in Florida. She loves to read a wide variety of books, hole up in her office and write fun stories, take long walks along the ocean, and cook yummy meals for family and friends. Her most recent book, SIX FEET BELOW ZERO, won Missouri's 2024 Mark Twain Readers Award, as well as Nebraska's 2024 Golden Sower Award, Honeybee Division. Additionally, it was a nominee on Oklahoma's 2023 Sequoyah Masterlist, and also a 2023 Tennessee Volunteer State Book Award nominee.
