Enrique Alda is a Spanish translator with a degree in Translation and Interpretation from the University of Salamanca and has been translating literature for more than twenty years. In the past ten years he has focused his work in Irish literature, especially in contemporary Irish women poets. In 2016 he won the I Premio Marcelo Reyes a la Traducción. He lives in Ireland and divides his time between the sunny slopes of the Moncayo in Spain and the green fields of Wicklow.
