Erik lives in the magical North Carolina woods where female chipmunks are called chipnuns and mice claiming to be cousins move in for the winter then take the towels when they leave in spring. He normally writes paranormal mysteries that include psychics, witches, and ghosts; but he is currently creating a medieval mystery series. Erik attended the Odyssey Fantasy Writing Workshop in 2010 and only lowered the class IQ by five or six points. He is a grand prize winner of the Sidney Lanier Poetry Competition and also a 2018 winner in the Writers of the Future contest.
