Francesco Pasqualetti (1980) is an Italian writer and conductor. He studied piano and composition in Italy and specialized in conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He graduated with honors in Philosophy in Pisa. He has conducted in major Italian and foreign theaters, including the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Cologne Opera and the New Zealand Opera. In February 2022 he published his first historical novel THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT for Rizzoli Historiae, based on a surprisingly new intertwining between the history of music and power in late eighteenth-century Europe. Since 2017 he is "Associate of the Royal Academy of Music" (ARAM) in London, an honor reserved for the Academy's former students who have particularly distinguished themselves in the musical profession.
