Dr. Fred Moss, MD ("The UnDoctor") is a Recovering Psychiatrist, author, and keynote speaker with 46 years in mental health, including 37 years as a board-certified psychiatrist. He left conventional practice after recognizing that the system he devoted his life to had become something he no longer recognized. His work centers on one conviction: authentic human connection is the foundation of real healing.
He has worked with more than 30,000 people and hosted or guested on over 450 conversations in mental health media. He is the author of Find Your True Voice, Creative 8: Healing Through Creativity and Self-Expression, and Welcome to Humanity: A Psychiatrist's Memoir and Case Against the Mental Health System. He lives in Grass Valley, California with his wife Alexandra.
