Howard’s poems, memoir pieces, and literary criticism have appeared in the Voice Literary Supplement, Massachusetts Review, Multicultural Review and small press poetry journals. White Wife/Blue Baby, her new memoir, looks back on marrying across the color line in sixties Chicago. As a survivor of sexual abuse, she draws energy from volunteering with SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests). Originally from the Midwest, she now lives in the Connecticut woods with her husband and dog.
