About the Author

Gavin Clifton is a bestselling children’s author and inspirational speaker whose work champions disability awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. Born with cerebral palsy and a severe speech impairment, he uses his own story to show that difference is not a barrier but a strength.

As a writer, Gavin creates children’s books where disabled characters take centre stage in heartfelt and imaginative adventures. His stories open doors for young readers to see themselves reflected and to embrace others without judgment. He is also leading a campaign for more disability-inclusive books and resources in Welsh schools, making sure classrooms better reflect the world children live in.
