Gianfranco Vigneri was born in 1973 in Rome, a city he deeply loves, where he lives and works and where he set his debut novel: ‘La Piuma sulla pelle’ (The Feather on the Skin). With degrees in Economics and Communication Sciences, he combines an analytical background with a passion for art and creativity. Married with three children, he is a dreamer and has always been a lover of reading, music, cinema and theatre. Active as an amateur musician, he has written original albums including Story of Marion & Damiel and collaborated on original music projects, Tecno Tenco, Fixes, Memoria, 19 Doppio Zero. He is the bassist for the cover band Audiophonica. From 2020 to 2024, he wrote for several publications on the international blog Medium, becoming co-editor of some of them, until he founded one in 2022: Just to Talk About, which remained active for just over two years. His favourite quote is from the writer Don De Lillo: “It is large-scale desires that make history”.
