Guy Laron is a senior lecturer at the international relations department, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the author of "the Six Day War" and "Origins of the Suez Crisis." His op-eds and stories have appeared in the Nation, the Guardian, History Today, Le Monde Diplomatique, War on the Rocks, Haaretz, Jacobin, Catalyst, the Hill, American Prospect, and American Affairs. His work on oil wars was featured on Channel 4's "Four Cast" and on France 24's "Spotlight". He was a visiting assistant professor at Northwestern University and a fellow at the University of Oxford and the Wilson Center in Washington, DC. Usually, he does not write about himself in the third person.
