Hayoung Shin is a 1.5 generation Korean-American immigrant and a proud alumna of Georgetown University. Hayoung felt compelled to write Reframing the Hyphen: A Christian Perspective on Immigrant Experiences to share some struggles she faced as an immigrant; struggles such as microaggressions, identity crisis, and deportation proceedings that came with her identity as a Korean-American.
