Heike Yates is a midlife fitness expert, wellness coach, athlete, and author who helps women rebuild strength, energy, and confidence—without extremes, quick fixes, or starting over. With more than 40 years in the fitness and wellness industry, Heike has seen what happens when the strategies that once worked suddenly don’t. A former bodybuilder, ultra-marathoner, and Ironman competitor, she built her early success on discipline and performance—until midlife revealed a different truth: pushing harder wasn’t the answer. That realization reshaped her work. Today, Heike helps midlife women stop blaming themselves for change and start working with their bodies through her SPARK Framework, Pursue Your Spark coaching programs, books, and podcasts. Her approach blends science, lived experience, and compassion to support women who feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected—and ready to move forward in ways that fit their lives now. Her mission is to remind women they haven’t missed their window. Strength, energy, and confidence are still possible—when the path forward is realistic, sustainable, and grounded in self-trust. When she’s not coaching or writing, Heike enjoys hiking, cycling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
