Hi, I’m Lucia! I’m an indie author and the creator of Indie Leaf Press. I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, in a place where traditional medicine is still practiced in many rural areas and passed on by elders to younger generations. As a child, I learned about medicinal plants from both my parents and my grandmother. Later in life, in my adult years I deepened my study of medicinal plants, studying the work of various well-established herbalists and learned more about “the science” behind how plants work. I find the study of herbs to be a lifelong pursuit, where the more you learn the more you realize is yet to be discovered. It’s an exciting and wonderful journey! For the creation of the books offered by Indie Leaf Press I teamed up with other specialists and authors, who have great knowledge regarding herbal medicine, gardening, and health in general. The mission of Indie Leaf Press is to provide the highest quality books on herbalism and help others discover the power and benefits of medicinal plants.
