J B Bonham is a pseudonym for a displaced Texan, proud U. S. Army veteran, and research scientist who thought he could someday write a fine novel of fiction. My background in biochemistry and molecular biology enabled a 30+ year career studying infectious diseases. Along the way I acquired a keen interest in Christian theology and have read and studied the works of such diverse thinkers and writers as C. S. Lewis, Francis Schaeffer, Watchmen Nee, Derek Prince, and many others. That science and that theology have come together in my first novel, "The Ancient Box". It isn't bad for a first book. I like to tell others that I am a professional scientist, an amateur theologian, and a student writer, but the truth is I'm still learning in each of these areas because there is still so much to learn. In keeping with that thought, my website at www.jbbonham.com will have a page devoted to "amateur" concepts of Christian theology where we just may learn from one another about the God who created all things and still has a keen interest in us.
