This book was written to call attention to domestic abuse and the effect it has on small children in particular, as well as adult victims, living in such harsh environments. J.S. Stone wrote this book from her own memories of witnessing violence in the home against her mother. It is her supreme wish that there comes a day when no person feels the fear and first-hand suffering that takes place growing up in a home where random volatile acts take place against beloved family members. Three Sisters in a Tin House is her first novel.
