Greetings, readers! I am a reader first and foremost as well. I love reading stories that mix spicy elements with genres such as fantasy, urban-fantasy, sci-fi, and post-apocalyptic adventure, just to name a few. But I was also gifted with a desire to create stories. After much consternation, I finally published my first novel as J. Scott Miles about a young man accidentally meeting a succubus and then discovering the wider supernatural world. The response to that initial novel has been truly heart-warming and humbling. What I write purposefully isn’t highbrow or weighty in its subject matter. I write things that are interesting and entertaining to me. Writing allows me to escape, for a few moments at a time, the countless things in the real world that are weighty. My hope is that my readers can experience the same momentary escapism I do when they read my stories. I hope they can relate to the characters and can lose themselves in the situations, but above all I hope they can find some enjoyment. Happy reading! J. Scott Miles.
