Hi I'm J.W. Patterson. Here's a little bit about me: I'm a teacher, an author, musician, parent, grandparent and traveler. I'm retired now and feel very fortunate to have the life I'm living. I've been lucky to have a very interesting life. I worked as a musician, had a couple of businesses, was in real estate and for 15 years was a teacher. I retired from teaching 5 years ago and worked in Mexico, was involved in internet marketing and now I'm a writer. I enjoy writing children's fantasy books and will probably get into writing in the Western genre also as I'm passionate about history and especially the old west. I live in the mountains of Northern California and travel to Mexico for the winters every year. I love the mountains but not the snow anymore.
