She lives in Hampshire, England with her husband, two sons and their crazy Cocker Spaniel, Charli.
Born in South Africa, she enjoyed her childhood being near the mountains and sea, camping and exploring. She does her best writing 38,000 feet up in the air, in coffee shops and hotel lobbies.

It is Rawlinson's passion to transport readers to new worlds. She loves coffee, books, chocolate, dogs, penguins, elephants, symmetry and plants, but not specifically in that order.
