After spending all of her life trying to perfectly follow the rules, in 2016, Jacquelyn realized she was anything but happy. A relentless seeker of solutions, she booked a 1-way flight to Europe, quit her job, and spent 6 months living out of a backpack. The journey was a wake-up call on the true foundations of happiness and meaning. In 2017, a partnership with the Authentic Happiness Project helped to launch work on a groundbreaking book on the science of happiness, and building our own version of the good life. The book debunks the myth of a single secret key to happiness, and helps readers develop a life-changing growth mindset through personal assessment, reflection, and intentional action in various areas of life (relationships, work, health, etc.). Currently Jacquelyn lives in Paris, where she continues discovering the art of living the good life. Her work spans a variety of forms and topics, including collaboration with Thrive Global, The Wellbeing Project, and other publications and projects. Jacquelyn also occasionally teaches yoga classes, hosts language exchange events (French, Spanish, & English) and is passionate about efforts that drive positive change.
