Welcome! I'm Jake Borchardt, an author and storyteller on a mission to inspire joy and transformation. In 2018, at 44, I began to remember the blissful innocence I'd long forgotten. What followed might seem dramatic or even extreme to some, but for me, it was about reclaiming my inner joy and wholeness. That year felt like waking up. I let go of what no longer served me, minimized distractions, and surrendered to what brought me peace. The changes were profound—I could feel them deep within.So I made a choice. I walked away from my 25-year career, gave my house to my son, packed up my truck with my faithful companion, Chai Lee, and set out on a path of surrender into the unknown. I didn’t know where it would lead, but I trusted the process, even when it was challenging.
