Jake Hanrahan is a British journalist and documentary filmmaker from the East Midlands. He covers war and conflict, extremist politics, and organised crime. He's best known for his on-the-ground reporting in Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, Ukraine, Palestine, Karabakh, and more. Hanrahan has worked for HBO, VICE News, The Guardian, Esquire, BBC News, and PBS Frontline, amongst others. His investigative work has won a duPont award.
