Jimmy Turner, MD, was once the poster child of a burned-out, overachieving physician. As a husband, father, and academic anesthesiologist, he maintained excellent clinical outcomes, published RCTs, and won teaching awards. Yet, he didn't have the autonomy he needed to create a career he loved. It was at this point, that Dr. Turner began to create the financial freedom he needed to make this happen. He would take what he learned, and now he teaches other doctors how to do the same. These efforts led to a physician finance blog, podcast (Money Meets Medicine), and later a business that helps doctors create the autonomy they need to live the life they want. Dr. Turner is now a co-founder of Attend (HelloAttend.com) where he helps doctors create the financial foundation they need to practice medicine on their terms.
