Jamie Handling was born in Northern California, where she currently resides after 15 years of living in various locations in the country. For 15 years, she and her husband moved with the United States Army, allowing her to meet and make friends along the way. She and her husband, along with their two amazing children, are now settled in Northern California. Since 1999, Jamie has been teaching high school English. Inspired by her students daily, she has taken to writing young adult fiction, hoping to make a difference in the world with her writing - one word at a time.
