Jamie was born in North Yorkshire, England. He started his career as an actor working alongside film directors such as Joe Wright and Oscar-winning director, Guillermo Del Toro. By the age of 25, Jamie was writing and developing screenplays for multi, Oscar-winning producer, Patrick J Palmer (Moonstruck, Justice For All, Little Children) and later companies such as: Fox, Universal, Netflix and Oxymoron.
