She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education and spent her career dedicated to supporting children and families. Since retiring from teaching, Jan has begun her publishing journey, writing books rooted in both professional insight and personal experience. One of the most meaningful changes in her own life was downsizing and decluttering her home, a process that inspired her to help others simplify, find peace, and create room to breathe. Through her books, including the Parenting with Patience series and her work on downsizing and decluttering, Jan blends compassion, practical guidance, and real-life understanding. Her mission is to empower readers to move forward with clarity, resilience, and confidence, creating calmer homes and more meaningful lives.
