Jana Kramer is an American actor and an ACM award-winning country music singer. She is best known for her role as Alex Dupre on the television series One Tree Hill. She made her acting debut in an independent horror film “Dead/Undead.” The following year, Jana guest appeared on All My Children, which marked Jana’s television debut. Jana has since continued to appear in a number of television shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, CSI: NY, and recurring roles on NBC’s Friday Night Lights, CW’s 90210, and HBO’s dramedy television series Entourage. Jana went on to pursue her film career and landed roles in “Click”, “Prom Night”. She then went on to star in “Country Crush” and 20th Century Fox’s feature “Heart of the Country”. Most recently, Jana can be seen on Hallmark Channel's “Love at First Bark” and Lifetime’s “Christmas in Mississippi” as well as “Christmas in Louisiana” in 2019. Jana began her musical career in 2012 releasing her debut album Jana Kramer followed by her sophomore album Thirty One in 2015. Seven of her singles charted on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, including the top 10 platinum selling hits "Why Ya Wanna" and "I Got the Boy". Jana was nominated for an ACM award for ‘Best Female Vocalist of the Year’ and won 'New Female Vocalist of the Year' by the Academy of Country Music in 2016. In May 2019, Jana and her husband Mike Caussin launched a podcast with iHeartRadio Whine Down with Jana and Mike, where they share advice and chats everything from motherhood, relationships and beyond. The People Choice Award-nominated podcast has become a staple for the couple, which they have also turned into a live variety show throughout 2019 and continued to tour to sold-out stateside crowds at the beginning of 2020. After seeing the devastation of her Nashville neighborhood from the March 2020 tornados shortly followed by the global lockdown amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Jana was moved to release her inspiring new single “Untouchable” on April 17th, 2020. Jana resides in Nashville with her husband their two children Jolie and Jace.
