Author and journalist, Jane Killick, wrote her first “novel” on orange paper at the age of 12. Fortunately for her literary reputation, the resulting manuscript hasn’t survived, but it ignited a passion for telling stories which has never faded. Her professional writing career began in science fiction magazines, where her articles led to behind the scenes books on TV and film, including Babylon 5 and Red Dwarf. Novels followed, with the Perceivers series about teenagers with mind powers and the Freelancer space adventure trilogy. While writing her books, Jane continues to work for the BBC reading the news for local radio. She lives in a village in Bedfordshire in England where her quest for the perfect garden remains elusive. http://www.janekillick.com.
