Jane never expected to live alone, but finding herself doing just that post-unanticipated divorce, she learned to embrace solo life, pitfalls and all. She was surprised to discover that no book existed to help fellow soloists navigate its sometimes treacherous shallows, so she wrote it herself. She candidly and wittily shares inspiration and tips that have helped her live a life rich in possibilities, friendships, challenges, personal rituals and scrumptious meals for one (individual Vietnamese claypot chicken anyone?). Jane is happy and wouldn’t swap her solo life. She lives behind a red front door in Sydney, Australia with Rory the Airedale terrier (who won’t be troubling Mensa) and lots of dreams of her next solo travel adventures.
