Hello, I'm Jane Riley and welcome to my books! My debut novel, The Likely Resolutions of Oliver Clock came out in 2020 in the UK, Germany and Italy. Since then, I have published two more: Geraldine Verne's Red Suitcase and The Mudlarkers' Club. I write character-based stories that explore serious issues with humour and warmth, touching upon themes of friendship, relationships, love and community.

I grew up in New Zealand but now split my time living between Sydney and London, where my two daughters now live. I have a degree in French and English literature and have worked in public relations and publishing. For more than twenty years, I have freelanced as a writer and editor, specialising in architecture and design. I completed the Faber Academy novel-writing course in Australia, which helped set me on the path to becoming an author.
