Janell Baliles is an American writer and poet currently living in Kazakhstan. Drawing much of her inspiration from the wild steppes and wide skies of Central Asia, Janell has penned several novels and hundreds of poems since trading the quiet green countryside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the those spellbinding lands. Janell is the author of the recently published Greater Than a Tourist: Shymkent Kazakhstan.
