Jean Hoefling is a copyeditor and author living in her native Colorado-- after many years spent in western Europe and at the northern Illinois state line. She loves writing the books she always wanted to read. Ashes Like Bread, the first book in her dark fantasy series, Chronicles of Genesis, won the 2019 Readers' Favorite Bronze Medal in Christian Fantasy, and the second book-- The Seed Bearer's Bride-- was a Foreword Indies 2021 finalist in Religious Fiction.
