Jeff was born in Northeast Texas. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce, he went on to earn a professional zoo-keeping certificate specializing in big cats. For the next 13 years, he worked as a large carnivore handler at a safari park in Arizona. He moved abroad in 2020 to earn a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from Trinity College Dublin and obtained a falconry license while caring for eagles, hawks, and owls. He enjoys hunting (deer and invasive hogs- not tigers) as he is a complex international man of mystery…like Austin Powers… without the chest hair or questionable dental hygiene.
