Jen & Sim Benson are award-winning outdoor adventure writers and photographers, endurance athletes and UKA/UESCA certified running coaches. Jen has an MSc in sport & exercise medicine, specialising in distance running, and many years of clinical and research experience working with runners. Her current PhD research explores the phenomenology of running endurance. Sim has run, hiked and climbed all over the world and is an expert in kit and navigation. Together, they've written 12 books on running, hiking, camping and the great outdoors, and they've worked with the National Trust, Ordnance Survey and Komoot, creating incredible adventures in beautiful places. They are regular contributors to the national press; Trail, Country Walking and Runner's World magazines; and gear experts for The Ramblers' quarterly magazine, Walk.
