Jennie is the co-author of middle grade novel, The Peonies: Summer in the City. Jennie and her co-author, Alix Sloan, are longtime friends and creative collaborators who met in New York City and share their own lively, non-traditional friend family. Inspired by all of the amazing young people in their lives, they set out to create a story about kids like them, for kids like them— and The Peonies were born. Alix and Jennie continue to write, together and individually, and hope you enjoy the adventures of Poppy and Esme. In addition, Jennie is a creative producer and writer with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, anchored by nearly 14 years as senior vice president of creative development and executive producer with the world-renowned Blue Man Group.
